Vehicles in German Town Discovered Covered with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Police State

Authorities mentioned they were alerted by a resident who found a automobile in Hanau marked with reddish fluid

Approximately 50 vehicles have been covered with what seems to be human bodily fluid in the Germany's town of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, according to authorities.

Cars, walls and postboxes were vandalized, sometimes with swastikas, they stated in a release.

Law enforcement report they were alerted late on Wednesday evening, when a man noticed that a vehicle in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been marked with a reddish fluid.

The fluid had been placed in the shape of a banned symbol, they added.

Police then located numerous other marked automobiles and residential walls in the adjacent neighborhood.

Nazi symbols are prohibited in Germany under regulations prohibiting the public display of Nazi-era symbols.

Police report initial examinations show the substance was probably blood from a person.

"Currently there is no indication as to where it came from; authorities are presently not aware of any physical harm in association with the occurrence," they stated.

Municipal representatives stated they were trying "to unravel the mystery" and have appealed to the public for details.

A senior political figure stated the incident rendered him stunned and had to be solved rapidly.

"This event strikes at the core of Hanau and reopens the trauma of the extremist violent incident in 2020," he posted on online, recalling the murder of nine individuals by a shooter aiming at people of migrant background in 2020.
